In 2010, the Y.M.C.A changed its name to simply, the Y. This month, the Y released commercials to further solidify its rebranding and enhance its public image. In this case, the logo (the Y) requires additional information for new viewers to understand the mission of the organization. The ads were created by the New York based advertising and design agency Droga5.
